Ok so My sign off did not work and I need help anyway!
Can anyone pass along a few hints on how to "push back protective cover and push the split pin out"  to paraphrase  Bentley.  my protective cover is 1/8 th in thick and I could not manage to fold it back after a long struggle.  Also, after grabbing the edge with needle nose pliers, I pulled it up but could not locate any pin to push out.  AS I said any hints appreciated.
