Hi gang!

It's been over a year since I last subscribed so forgive me if this issue has been recently addressed. My 83.5 Camper engine died on the interstate - no bucking or rough running, just that sickening instant and total loss of power.

Parts replaced in the last 10,000 miles:

4 new Bosch injectors New AFM Coolant temp sensor Rebuilt distibutor New fuel pump and filter New ignition module New Bosch coil

Spark is a strong blue flame but the plugs are soaked with gas. When I unplug the fuel pump at the relay box the engine starts and runs for a few seconds and dies. When I plug it back in the plugs are wet again and engine will not start.

What can cause such an overrich condition that prevents starting? The fuel pump runs for a few seconds and shuts off with key is turned to "on" position - I believe this is normal.

Good to see the list is still hopping!
