But will the neighbors in your camground be able to handle the noise and stink? I'd say get an aux battery, run the fridge on 12V, get a 12V fluorescent (very efficient), and top up the battery with the gen as needed.

We more/less use this approach, but don't run the 12V icebox at night, relying on gelpacks to keep the thermal momentum going.

If your fridge can handle propane, get that mode going.
