Subject: Recall for Fuel tank
Content-Type: text/plain

Hi Volks, Just got off the phone with two local VW dealers (a.k.a. snakes in the grass). Unfortunately the recall for that new harness for the AFM is over and they said they would not even arbiter for third owner! :( I still know the first though and VW doesn't know anyone else owns it so I will try to get here to arbitrate it. Especially for $150 dollars for something they messed up on! But now the good news for all of us! There is still a open recall on the gas tank, sending unit, and idle stabilizer on the '87 Syncro Camper! I just set up a appointment and they said at the very least i was getting a new gas tank!!! They rest is based on inspection. So, all you vanagon owners call service with you VIN#'s and get a free gas tank and maybe more ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
