<< 1992 Volkswagen Eurovan camp 2.5 L

Trans: Standard Mileage: 100,000 miles VIN: [No VIN available.]

Misc Data: canadian delivered campmobile Affected Item: aux battery Condition: loaction

Customer complains the battery loses power too quickly to run camper accessaries while camping. The main batterytest out fine, alt. charges fine, the monitor at the rear view mirror for aux battery indicates charging voltage while engine running, however it immediatly drops to 10.4 volts when the engine is off.( we suspect the aux battery has a bad cell.) This may not sound difficult however we cannot find the darn thing. The american information available indicates it is under the drivers seat and only goes back to 1993. HELP!!! Oh by the way we disconnected the main battery and the monitor still reads 10.4 volts. Anybody else run into this before? Please let us know what you found.Thanks... Ken
