Today I started cleaning up and checking ground straps in the
engine compartment, and found that the right side cylinder head did
not have one. Is there supposed to be one (I added one anyway).


I was surprised that the replacement connectors installed by the VW
dealer with the rebuilt engine (5 years ago) were the cheap crimp
on type. So now I have one ground from each cylinder head leading
the left side of the engine bay, where I have polished the metal and
all connectors. Are there any other ground straps I might be
missing?


Also, my coolant tank (the left one) seems to be leaking around the
coolant level sensor. I assume this sensor screws in?
