Volks,

I've posted requests on several occassions to this list about trying to find an OEM cruise control for my 89 Westy.  I thought I had found one this spring but it seems to have fallen through.  Is there ANYBODY out there who has scrapped out a Vanagon with a cruise that would fit mine? 

My mechanic says he can make one from an Audi but he doesn't have the right controls so it would be kinda cobbled.  I'd rather go OEM but don't want to go without for our big trip later this summer.
