You are going to laugh when you read what I use to retrieve my pillow(s) with. You know those 2.5 to 3 foot long tools that have a button on one end you push so that some small grabbers at the other end come out at the other end? You know, the one you're suppose to be using for retrieving stuff you drop down in the engine? Well, I keep mine up in the rail over the stove and when I lose my pillow in the night, I just reach over and grab that grabber thing and reach down and get a good grip on the pillow case and haul it right back up. :)
