I belive very strongly in fuel filters. I have always put in a marine fuel filter and water seperator. They look like an oil filter with a stopcock underneath. you can mount it on the frame and it does a great job of cleaning the fuel. The water stays on the bottom where you can perodicaly drain it and check the condition of the dirty side. They are also so big that it does not block fuel delivery and will last for years.
