I'd recommend Louis Foreign Car Repair (7301 Roosevelt Way, 206-524-3366), a small independant shop a mile or so north of the University of Washington. Very sharp and very fair. If your preference runs to dealer service (which may make some sense for out-of-towners, since the dealership warranty is honored by other dealers), I'd recommend Carter VW, located in the Ballard area of Seattle. Also very capable and fair, but relatively pricey, at least compared to Louis Foreign Car Repair. -Wes > Date: Wed, 9 Jun 1999 21:47:54 -0500 > From: Holm <vholm@WEREWOLF.NET> > Subject: Service in Seattle? > My wife is on holiday in the Seattle area and would like her 84 Westy > checked over.
