Subject: Vacation Location - decided!

Well, thanks for all of your great suggestions on vacation ideas for later this month. It looks like we have finally settled on a trip that will take us up the California North Coast to southern Oregon and back down through Mt. Lassen and Lake Almanor, CA before returning home.

Specifics: From Santa Barbara to San Francisco, where we will meet up with my brother and his fiancée (in their Toyota 4Runner) Up the Mendocino coast with stop for lunch at Tomales Bay Oyster Farm( a must-do for oyster lovers!) Benbow/Garberville Redwood National Forest Ashland, OR Klamath Falls, OR Mt. Lassen National Park Lake Almanor, CA June Lake, CA/Bridgeport for fireworks Back to Santa Barbara :-(

Total trip duration: 14 days! About 1,800 miles.

Any suggestions for camping/must-see/mountain biking/fishing spots would be appreciated!

My brother will be taking a professional-quality digital camera, so I hope to come back with lots of pictures of the Syncro in action! (maybe I'll finally get around to doing my own web site...)
