I'm writing to thank the many, many people who offered their advice regarding a good VW shop in the Seattle area. Also, thanks to the folks who offered their opinions regarding petting a stock rebuild in vs. an engine swap such as a Golf or Audi engine. (For everyone's information, the response was overwhelmingly, "go with an Audi" followed by "go with a Subaru.")

I was overwhelmed by the number of kind people that responded to both e-mail questions. Thank you all again!
