I have used Castrol Syntec 5W-50 in all my vehicles for the past 8+ years
with great results.  No engine rebuilds and almost zero consumption between
oil changes (5000 to 7500 miles, depending on vehicle).

P.S.  I use the best oil filter I can find and change with each oil change.
