Subject: Syncro Spring Reminder: Homework
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Just a reminder to those on the list purchase for syncro springs to measure your vehicle height from lower lip of wheel well/fender to center of the dust cap/axle both unloaded and loaded (what you normally carry on a trip or during normal use, weight wise). If we want the best possible outcome, we have to spend a little time gathering this data.

It may be relatively easy to get springs for 2wd vanagons, too, as several have expressed interest. one listee has a set of springs he is willing to send to Betts Spring for testing. I will find out from the guy handling the syncro springs whether one joint 2wd and syncro oirder would reduce costs, or whether we should do two seperate orders.

I jsut got back from a hearing in court...and since it's friday i'll expound. I took my little boy and girl (both 5) with me as i like them to see what daddy does. Just as our case was called, and i was headed up to the podium, my little boy blurted out...daddy...i have to go poo poo...so that all the attorneys there for hearings and the judge and all heard...funny as can be....caused an uproar of laughter. The kids came right up o the podium with me and watched quietly..and at the end my little boy asked the judge if he could see his hammer, and why didn't he bang it and say Order. You had to be there, I guess. It's amazing the affect a five year old can have on a bunch of stuffy lawyers and judge...all of that pomp and posturing suddenly becomes meaningless. steve
