I have to correct you, Brad!

The 2wd 4-speed and the Syncro uses the same shift lever, the 2wd 5-speed uses a different lever. I learnt this when my Syncro's lever broke, and I tried to find a used one.

First junkyard I called said: "Nah, the Syncro and 2wd 4-speed is different, you need a 2wd 5-speed lever! We aint got any of them. " The Second yard said: "The Syncro and 2wd 5-speed is different, you need the 2wd 4-speed, which we don't have!"

So, I stopped at the dealer, and asked my friend at the parts counter. What he found is that the Syncro and 2wd 4-speed shares p/n, while the 2wd 5-speed has a different p/n.
