I have an Audi 5000 with a 2.3 L engine and am looking to those of you out
there with some expertise with these beasties.  Here's the problem, it is
running really rich. Black smoke, black fowled plugs, lack of power etc.  I
have the Haynes book for it, but of course as we all know, Haynes can be
quite lacking of information.  I looked and in the books great wisdom, it
says take to dealer!  Now, I just cannot accept that.  Me being the cheap
DIYer, I need to fix this one myself, so anyone out there in "insert Vanagon
content here" Vanagon land that knows how to fix this one, let me know.
