If you put on the correct tire, the 16" will not be a problem. The only problem you might see is that the wheels may rub the control arm. Only way to see is to try, if this is a problem, you need spacers. I know someone runs 16" Ronals on his Syncro, come forward!!! PerL Bug, Bus 'n 'Back
