Are you sure? I have a set of H&R springs and from the spoiler to the ground it is more than 8" clearance. Did you leave in the stock spacer? I actually have better front clearance because the rear is not sticking up so high. I have a 1988 wolfsburg with the lower suspension and the H&R springs lowered it @1" in front and several in the rear. They are stronger than stock, curves are taken easy, but the lowering concerns me when it is loaded down...Yet to try it out.
