It is no problem to remove the rear springs. 1. Place the car on jack stands (rear) and remove the rear wheel. 2. Undo the hand brake (be sure to secure the van from rolling) and put a floor jack under the rear trailing arm, and lift a bit. 3. Remove the lower mounting bolt and nut on the shock absorber, and loosen the upper to allow it to swing out of way. 4. Lower the floor jack, and you're probably done. If the spring still don't come out, press the trailing arm down enough to get spring out. 5. Replacement is reverse of removal.
