The local repair shop (Autospiel in Victoria) doing my '88 4speed transaxle recommends LubriMoly for a Synthetic gear oil. Although it is a GL-5 oil, he says he has not heard of any issues about corrosion of syncros. Is this only a problem with GL-5 dino oil? Or are some GL-5 oils ok to use? LubriMoly also have a GL4 oil, but it's not synthetic, and its 85W90, so may not be good in cold weather. Any experience with this stuff out there? (ps: I've requested Redline MTL, which he can get, but am curious about this stuff) Web page: http://www.liqui-moly.de
