At a guess, I'd check the following;

- Ground strap from block to chassis. - Ground strap from tranny to chassis. - Ground studs with push-on crimp connectors. There's two or three in the engine bay and a few just behind the fuse box. They always seem to work loose. - Connections from Hall-effect sensor in distributor. There's a flimsy 3-wire connector attached to this. Most all I've seen have one or two of the wires hanging from the connector by a thread.
