Hi Michael, The small hoses that go out to the to the expansion tanks / bottles are 5mm. It has been awhile, seems you will need about 6 feet of the 5mm stuff. I was able to find the braided 5mm stuff at a local vw flaps. Just cut them the same length and hook up to the expansion tanks after you have the tank reinstalled. Drive the van until you are on empty so one person can handle it. Good luck with your quest. Darrell
