REI has great nylon tarps that are very strong and fold VERY small compared to
those cheapo plastice ones.  They are more expensive, but will out last the
plastic ones 3 to 1 easily if you camp in strong winds at all or use it a
lot...and they store so nicely, they're worth it IMO.
