        I think Vanagons are the primary van type vehicle in the Balkans. I
was in Bosnia this winter, and they are everywhere-double cabs, single cabs,
commerical vans as well as passenger vans. I was told by a Sarejevo official
that they used to be built in Bosnia, VW owns a factory there but it has not
produced any vehicles since about when the Bosnian war started , say about
'92.  You also see a lot of them in Montenegro, Albania and Romania, though
not three on every street corner like in Bosnia. I've never been to Serbia,
but I'll bet there are plenty there as well....
