If you haven't already, get the parts list for the fridge, so you can get the part number yourself, rather than relying on the clueless people. It's available at: "http://www.rv.com/pdf%20data/3100550.007.pdf" (Or you can just go to www.rv.com, and search for "RM182", to get the parts list and other documents.)

To order the part, you might want to try two places here in St. Louis, both of which I've had good dealings with in the past. Byerly Trailer - (636) 938-2000 (They handle Dometic parts) RecTec - (314) 731-9080 (Don't know if they handle Dometic parts, but they're worth a try.)

Actually, I've never felt the need to turn mine. It's always set to "Max", also known as "just barely cold enough".
