I drove to Roy's Garage this week. What a disappointment. Everything has been completely dismantled. Just rusting skeletons left. No bumpers or rub strips worth taking. No vinyl that's worth anything after spending years in the rain. No cabinets whatsoever.

The "California Camper" was not a camper at all, but some conversion van. Four american looking captains and a rear bench. Lotsa velour and walnut.

Forgot to look for the seatbelt, but I think I know where there's one already.

Roy he was kind enough to offer me the five vanagons remnants for only $2500. This was over the phone before I arrived. I wouldn't pay $50 for all of the vans.

But I heard theres a big junkyard in Lexington with lotsa vanagons.....
