Folks,

Occasionally Gerry locks up and will not distribute messages until it is
rebooted.  When this happens, we fall back on the Spare Vanagon server.  When
Gerry is locked up, messages to vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com asking "is the
server down?" do absolutely no good at all.  That's why the spare list is
there.  If you REALLY want to know if it's the server or just you, subscribe
to the backup.  Just go to http://www.onelist.com/subscribe.cgi/vanagon and
fill in the blanks.  That way, you'll KNOW what is going on.

And, BTW, Gerry's back on-line.
