No, the 3.2 liters is not a complete fill. I just filled mine after a standard drain, and 4 quarts did not overflow the fill hole. The reason is there's a bloody great partition in the case which traps fluid ahead of it. Todd can no doubt tell us why it's a bad idea to bore a couple of holes through that partition....

VW specified a partial (3.2 l) fill because of high shifting effort, but the Redline oil obviates that and works fine with a complete fill.
