An Audi 100/5000 T intercooler fits nearly perfect in the drivers side left air intake and mates with the turbo and intake manifold with one S-shaped hose, 2.5" offset from the turbo to the intercooler and one short straight piece from intercooler to intake manifold.

I haven't found a solution to put a high capacity fan in there, but I think (without having any quantitative data) that airflow might be adequate anyway when driving at speed.

And if you are using the Diesel setup with a drivers side air intake just relocate it to the right side. I've got the std diesel airbox stuck in behind the battery, but will change to a cone type high flow filter (K&N?) as soon as I figure out which one is the biggest I can fit. Anyone has a K&N or other catalog with pictures and sizes of their stuff?)
