The EuroVan would be my suggestion. It has more room than any mini van, including the extended versions, and as much room or more than the Vanagon (my guess, don't know for sure). The EV is available with the reliable Audi 5 cylinder (used) or with the VR6 (new or newer) The EV MV can be found used for a reasonable price. The MV comes equipped with seating for 7 adults and the rear seat folds into a bed. For a little more $$ look for the MV Weekender with the poptop. Mileage is good for a vehicle of this size.
