In the last two weeks, the accelerator pedal has stuck three times after approximately 1" of travel. In two ocassions after a few minutes it popped back out by itself. In the other, I had to push the linkage by hand to free it. In all intances it was during highway driving at constant speed (no using the cruise control). The van is now parked until fixed. I think that it is a worn out cable sleeve, or a weak spring somewhere along the linkage. I intend to work on it this weekend, so any suggestions or comments on the matter are greatly appreciated.
