I apologize if this is an often asked question, but I cannot access the archives for the present time, so I have to ask around. My 81 transporter has black rubber mats throughout, in lieu of carpet. Best thing that could ever be, considering my children and the use we get out of it :) Is there any secret product that will clean the rubber and give it back its shine? WD-40 seems a bad idea <g> I removed them and scrubbed them as best as I could, and I even tried some of that stuff you spray on tires to give them that phony shine. (I only applied it under the seats, and other areas where folks don't walk! Of course those parts look great, but are unsafe at any speed :), and I would like to get the rest of the mats looking that good. Any chance? Thanks a lot Best Regards from Utah, John |
