Subject:      Water pump leak

I discovered that my water pump is spewing out water from the shaft that
the two hoses connect to. Is there some sort of seal there that can be
replaced or am I looking at a new pump??? This is sort of an insult to
injury thing. I just bought the van (84 Westy) and am leaving Saturday for
a trip from Toronto ON to Victoria BC. I discovered this problem after I'd
epoxied the hole in my water tank that I thought was my biggest problem
------ one damn thing after another......
