Subject: '91 high idle when warm.
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hi All,

normally I'd not post a message like this, but my van is sooo new, the Bentley's still in the mail...

my problem is a high idle (about 1800 rpm) when the engine get's warm.

It has new plugs, rotor and cap, and the adjustment screw is already screwed all the way in on the throttle body.

I cleaned and made sure the idle adjuster/control valve was freely able to move.... and that's about all I know to do at the moment.

Is there any other simple adjustment I can try while I'm waiting for the Bentley ? (timing?)

Thanks.. Dave Greenland '91 westy Napa, CA.
