Well, for anyone interested, I located these moldings, and did order one for myself. They ain't cheap though. The seals themselves are $59.95. These fit into metal channels, which, if you don't have them or are not inclined to fabricate a method of attachment for yourself, are an additional $39.95 each. Not that I'm expecting to do a whopping business in these, but since several people did e-mail to express interest, I thought I'd pass on that I can now get them if anyone wants them. They apparantly were standard on later Vanagons but obviously could be installed on earlier ones as well as an upgrade.
