Kevin, et al--

The consensus of folks on the list is that Parts Place is an excellent place to purchase VW parts if you like throwing money away on shipping, and have endless patience for avoidable errors and poor customer service. I received their catalog, and like the *idea* of "recycling" VW's...the concept is great, the execution, (at least by Parts Place) leaves something to be desired.

There are a number of reputable VW Parts vendors on our beloved 800 person mailing list, selling everything from camping tents to crankshafts. Go to www.vanagon.com and see the vendors list. Mention this e-mail and they'll give you a 50% discount...well, maybe not.

Cheers,

Does anyone have the phone number or web address of Parts Place? Or is there another parts source one would recommend?

Thanks
