Westy- summer use only (even then I spend more time under it than in it!) Golf- year round (had an engine failure and rebuild about 2 years ago)

Castrol- expensive ($7.00/L)

I switched to Castrol in the Golf about a year and a half ago. However, I will be switching to Castrol for the camper soon. (ie: when I get it on the road again!)

BTW the Castrol in the Golf is from a Costco oil deal, looked under the car the other day, and they use Fram filters! No more changes there I guess!

Cheers, Bob
