Lee, the Hot Rod configuration is optimized for fast acceleration in a straight line (like a drag strip). In the real world, vehicles must dodge around obstacles, swerve to avoid children, take a cloverleaf ramp. No, we haven't been involved in Hot Rodding but we have spent the last 23 years with performance driving schools with the Saab Owners' Club of Canada.
