Subject: Which way is the air going? On the rear vents

Hello Folks,

Just a quick question....

At speed which way is the air going in the vents at the back side of a Vanagon? What I mean is the air being sucked out or pushed in?

I would think at rest that the air flow is up do to the rising engine hot air I am going to mount an intercooler in one of the pockets in the engine compartment.

Seems like a dumb question but I am curious

Thank you for any help
