I put these on my '72 911 a few years back to protect the Marchant headlamps that were there. They worked fine. Of course they cost a lot more for a 911 from a Porsche parts dealer! Since I have generic sealed beams in my '81 Vanagon, they are naked, but I do intend on putting them on the eyeballs of my new-to-me '88 Carrera.
