Dear Volks,

We have an 84 Vanagon GL and it is a perfect van for our family of 6...even though we have had some engine problems...and even though it does not have airconditioning...the question is, we would like it to have the air conditioning, even though we will not have to use it a lot since we live in San Francisco. Is it worth it to have a unit put in this van? If so, how much would it cost us? Who could do a good job of converting this to air? Thanks for your time.

Joe and Sue
