Hi Folks

When my syncro gets hot it gets very difficult to turn sharply (in car parks hairpin bends and driving on full lock). When cold its no problem or on looose surfaces but when its hot it feels as if the four wheel drive is engaged. The diff locks are definitely not on but you can feel the transmission tightening up. Are all syncro vanagons the same....mines always been like this for the 40 000 miles ive driven it but i sometimes get concerned ill damage the transmission

Cheers

Stewart Signol
