NO!(not to sound harsh) First off, you live in CA. Being a native CA and then going to Louisiana after 19 years, I now realize that Californians have no need for air conditioning! I mean it might get "hot"(90 with no humidity is NOT hot) 2-3 weeks a year. Plus it is not like the wasser boxer has horsepower to throw out the window! You will find yourself not using it because it gobs so much power. When I was considering purchasing an un A/Ced van I looked into the conversion.(In Louisiana it gets 95 with 100% humidity, where living without A/C is damn near impossible) ICE A/C gave me a quote of $2k plus tax on the parts. So, I say live with the mild weather of SF and roll down the window when it gets above room temperature. That or sell what you have and buy one with A/C. Just my $0.03
