If the donor engine has air conditioning, it can be used in a Vanagon that
has ac.  5 cylinders are only done by the Vanagon Projekt in California, and
it will be some time before they get it to the point of having kits
available.  So for the time being, the only way to get a 5 cylinder is to
take it to Livermore, CA, and get in line.  Ours is next!
