I'd like to place the order for the custom made front syncro springs by July 9 at the latest. I've gotten specs from several people, but not from everyone. The core specs I need are

(1) type of van, i.e. westy, pass., etc; (2) desired % increase in front suspension stiffness; (3) desired increase in ride height, if any; (4) van ride height (from bottom of fender lip to center of axle or dust cap) with the van loaded to normal capacity in terms of weight...it would also be useful to know ride height with the van empty

At a minimum, give me some idea of what van you have and what you are looking for in springs so i can put you into the appropriate group if we end up buying more than one spring type, which seems likely now.

Last week Betts Spring tested one of the aftermarket springs that a member of this group has mounted on his van. Betts had already tested the stock syncro springs. We thus have two reference points for determining the spring rate(s) we want. Mark Drillock, Peter Buettner and I hope to do some testing of the stock and aftermarket springs over the July 4th weekend before we come up with the final spring rate(s) with the help of the Betts engineer. We should thus be ready to order by Friday, July 9. I should have a firm written price quote by the end of this week...and price will depned on how many springs we order. The price will be somewhere between $45 and $55 a spring. steve Let me know if you want on or of this group list
