Nothing is wrong. Park and leave the transmission in reverse (reverse is a very low and square cut gear, so this provides the least amount of leverage to turn over engine), and be sure to cramp the wheels either toward the curb or in what ever direction will guide the van towards the closest obstacle in case it does slip.
