Great idea, I'd buy one if suddenly they stopped making parts for my vanagon. But as it is now they're readily available and $500 bucks buys a lot of them. I'm not sure how long it would last moving -30degree oil all winter when I'm up country, if it was reliable I figure it would have more then a one year warranty. still if I had a suitcase of money to dump into my westy, I'd put one in.
