Has anyone done a conversion to 134a refrigerant using the original SD709 compressor. The reason I ask is that I am opting to buy a new compressor and still operate with the R12 until further problems (hopefully at least 3 years).

I am assuming that all we need to do is buy a kit such as the one Bus Depot sells when we want to convert?
