Hi all,
I just got my '81 a short time ago, and had it out this week-end just
cruising around town getting used to it, and seem to have a small
shifting problem. The tranny up shifts fine from 1st through 4th, but
has a problem down shifting from 4th or 3rd to second. It just won't go
into second without first going into 1st or 3rd or 4th, then into 2nd.
Sometimes it will work, but most times it cant find it.
Is this a linkage problem or an internal problem?
