Any tips on

My wife and I did the same trip a few years ago by motorcycle and hit lots
of rain and cold weather (unusual for Summer I hear). We were cutting
across on the Yellowhead Hwy. from the Icefields Pkwy. on our way to the
southern end of the Cassier when we passed through Prince George late one
rainy evening. We stumbled onto this place that is still an oasis in my
mind called "Ester's". It's a motel with this huge indoor heated pool and
palm trees in a warm, humid greenhouse-like Atrium. Definately not the
natural wonder I would have thought would pop into my mind after reading
your post but hey, you get what comes up in my head. You can't imagine what
a surreal experience that was after heading off for what we expected would
be points unknown. Cold, wet and tired I will never forget the way Ester's
palm trees made us smile and laugh. Ester's?????!!!! Not sure if the
effect would be the same leaving the comfort of a Westy.....I gather
probably not. Hey, those mountains and glaciers were great too.
